FAQ & troubleshooting

TL;DR — This page expands the homepage FAQ. A wrong bind or a brand-new Heir starts on the transfer guide: withdraw the empty Steam link, then convert the original login. Foundry is a separate new server, not an account or server transfer. In-game delete after conversion can wipe legacy progress, so read the demo warning before you reinstall. Anti-cheat and launch failures are covered in Steam notes. This is an unofficial info site; STOVE and Steam stay authoritative.

Complements the homepage FAQ with launch-week pain points. Trust STOVE screens over any third-party script.

Account transfer & wrong Steam bind

Start here if Steam shows a new Heir or an empty account. The usual cause is a second Steam-linked STOVE login, not deleted progress.

Steam opens a brand-new Heir — where is my old account?

Steam likely created a new Steam-linked STOVE login. Withdraw that new account, then convert your original. See the transfer guide (/steam-transfer/) · STOVE FAQ.

Can I still play on mobile or STOVE PC after converting?

Per the STOVE Steam FAQ, the converted account can still be used on STOVE PC and mobile. Treat Steam as another login route, not a one-way platform lock. Confirm current device rules on the STOVE Steam FAQ.

Do purchases, unclaimed rewards, and Epic Pass carry over?

Per the STOVE Steam FAQ, progress and data — including unclaimed rewards, event items, and Epic Pass — carry over when the original login is converted. Verify current details on the official FAQ before converting.

Foundry, cross-play & schedules

Foundry is a separate server opened with the Steam launch. Converting login does not move a legacy character onto it; cross-play uses the same linked account.

Can I play Foundry on Steam and continue on mobile?

Cross-play is supported with the same account after proper linking. Foundry characters live on Foundry — transferring login alone does not move a legacy character onto Foundry.

Is Guild War live on Foundry yet?

Draft Arena opened with launch. Guild War: 2026-11-21 03:00 UTC per STOVE Foundry view/14571828. World Arena: 2026-12-10. See Guild War on Foundry.

Launch, anti-cheat & platform pricing

Separate client problems from account problems. Anti-cheat and store pricing are platform-level; transfer state is a STOVE account issue.

Game will not start / anti-cheat error

Steam lists kernel-level UNCHEATER. Update OS/GPU drivers. Managed PCs may need STOVE PC or mobile instead. Escalate only via official CS. See Steam notes (/steam-notes/).

Are Steam prices different from mobile?

STOVE FAQ states no price differences between platforms. Still compare live shop UI in your region.

Demo, reinstall & data safety

The demo is over, but the deletion trap is not. Do not use in-game account deletion after a successful Steam login transfer.

Demo ended — do I need to reinstall?

Install/update the full Steam release from the Download / store entry (/download/). Account state depends on whether you converted login — read the demo delete warning (/demo-delete-warning/).

Short troubleshooting checklist

  1. Confirm you are on official Steam app 5019180.
  2. Confirm which STOVE login Steam is using.
  3. Check STOVE maintenance / Foundry banners.
  4. Never use in-game account deletion after Steam login transfer.
  5. Still stuck → Epic Seven CS via STOVE (not Discord DMs selling fixes).
